So I’ve finally come to the end of an era. I have spent 7 whole years of my life at the same institution and my Sixth Form College Prom last night was the final part of my journey. Although I do feel sad about the fact that I’m leaving from somewhere that has had such a big impact on my life, I am incredibly excited to start my new adventure. My time at secondary school and sixth form has not only taught me how to be disciplined and dedicated to my work, but how to be a good person; how to be empathetic and think of others, and to stand up for what I believe in. This 100% definitely helped me to do well in my interviews for University and for that I will be forever grateful. I am a much stronger person now and feel like I am able to achieve whatever I set my mind to. Even if I don’t quite get the grades this year to go to University, I am going to get there eventually. Becoming a Speech Therapist is my ultimate dream job, and nothing is going to get in my way!
